About Us

The North Stamford Exchange Club (NSEC) is a volunteer group of men and women working together to make our community a better place to live.

Members have the opportunity to exchange views with other community leaders and business people, to bond together in good fellowship, to share time, interests and talents with like minded individuals. Membership is a way to build friendships, offer your skills to the community, network with other businesses and develop leadership and organizational skills.

Club meetings are held twice monthly. Meetings are held to discuss Club business and to foster good fellowship and the exchange of views. As a member you will help plan and support fundraising efforts and connect with beneficiaries of our support programs.

A chartered Exchange Club since 1953, NSEC has worked hard to uphold the ideals of service to the community as established in 1917 by the National Exchange Club. For more information and history of Exchange Club, please contact us.

Throughout the years the North Stamford Exchange Club has supported a wide variety of organizations with a stong focus on youth programs. Here is a short list of some of our beneficiaries:

During the 1940s, the National Exchange Club organized its club activities around seven areas of service that included: education; agriculture; aviation; citizenship; commerce and industry; federal youth rehabilitation; youth and geriatrics.

In the mid 1960s, Exchange adopted its National Programs of Service. Also known as the four “pillars” of Exchange, the National Programs of Service brought into greater focus the most pressing issues of the day and affords local clubs the ability to structure activities according of their specific community. The programs include:

Americanism
Youth Programs
Community Service
